They Shell Crack

They Shall Crack is a top-down twin-stick shooter game created for the Blackthornprod Game Jam #3, inspired by The Binding of Isaac.

The theme is Less is More.

To fit the theme, we came up with two gimmicks!

1. You always play in the same room!
2. Clearing the room in the designated time will add the remaining time to your timer.
3. Gaining upgrades in a state will lower another, correlating stat (e.g. higher damage results in lower range)

To get stronger, power-ups will spawn every few rooms.
You end a run by either having your timer run out or dropping to 0 HP.

They Shall Crack is a highscore based game! Try to reenter the room as many times as possible and crack as many eggs as you can!
